This program is specifically designed to assist participants in their efforts to prepare for the CPSM Exams required to earn the designation of CPSM. It is a review of all three Exams subjects and tasks.
Participants are required to bring to the class the associated CPSM Study Guide for each Exam.
This is a review of the material required to pass the CPSM Exams. The review will cover all tasks and will include lecture, question and answer, group participation, and case studies.
Marilyn Davis has been involved in government contracting since 1986 starting as a secretary to the Northeast Region’s Procurement Branch in the U.S. Postal Service and gradually moving up to Contracting Officer in USPS Headquarters in Washington DC. She left the Postal Service and went to GovWorks, a franchise fund under the Department of Interior. She moved on to work with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as a Business Operations Specialist in the Acquisition Programs and Planning Branch. After 31 years, she retired from government service in 2010.
Ms. Davis has MS in Managerial Leadership from National Louis University. She is a Lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and was president of the National Association of Purchasing Managers/National Capital Area in 2008.
